We have a Monarch caterpillar who has made his cocoon right outside our front door.  (I’m assuming it’s a he. I really have no idea.) I noticed him hanging out for two days, then yesterday, I saw the cocoon. I noticed this morning the pretty gold. This is exciting. I didn’t get a picture of the caterpillar, but here’s a pic I took  this morning:

Nature is so cool.
