Katie, the chalkboard is in the kitchen table nook, where the food was. There was a lot going on that day, so I’m sure it was easy to miss. Thanks for all the compliments! They mean a lot and are greatly appreciated.

Very cute penguin. You know what I didn’t see at your house the other weekend. Your chalk board. Where was it hanging? I loved your colors of your rooms and the book shelf/ wine bar thing…It was really fun and I was trying to picture something like that in my house but I couldn’t. Just not the right lay out, but it works really well with yous. Also your covered bench seat. Loved that too in person. Best of luck with your peppers and tomatoes.

i love ikea, too even if i don’t buy anything, i still come out of there excited to decorate my rooms sounds like your house is really shaping up to be great! i love your chalkboard/herb pot idea!!

Melissa: I would love to learn how to sew. We are getting new furniture in the living room and I haven’t been able to find throw pillows that I like. Do you think you could help me make some? What fabric store do you use? Oh one last thing, where did you get your sewing machine?
